Importing and sharing recipes
- Supported sources. Import supported Instagram posts and Reels, TikTok posts, or Pinterest Pins. In Recipes, tap Add, then Import from social and paste the link. You can also share a link to Home Bartender from the source app.
- Set up the share sheet. Open Home Bartender and sign in first. If Home Bartender is missing from the iOS share sheet, open its More list and add Home Bartender to your favorites. If an import asks you to finish setup, open Home Bartender and follow the recovery guidance.
- Review, edit, save. Check the ingredients and quantities against the original. Use Edit recipe to make corrections, then save explicitly. The iOS share sheet keeps the review and save in place. Open Home Bartender later to view or edit your saved recipe.
- Several recipes in a Pin. When an import finds multiple recipes, choose which to keep and review each one. Check small fractions and quantities carefully in image collages.
- A post will not import. Private, removed or age-restricted posts may be unavailable. Try the original supported link. If it still fails, email the source link and the error you see. Never send a password or sign-in code.
- Import access. Social imports are included during the 14-day trial and with Pro. They do not use your bar-scan allowance. The trial includes up to 5 AI bar scans. After the trial, the free plan has a 5-recipe limit and a 5-scan allowance; scans already used count toward that allowance.
- Share one recipe. Open a saved recipe and tap Share. Your friend receives a recipe link they can read in their browser without an account. A guest menu is separate: it lets guests browse your selected drinks and order.

- Manage or cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple — view, change, or cancel at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions (or on your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
- Restore a purchase on a new device. Sign in to the app, open any Pro feature, and tap Restore purchases on the upgrade screen — make sure the device uses the same Apple account you bought with.
- Share your menu with guests. From Home, open the Guest Menu card and tap Share QR — guests can view the menu and place orders in their browser without installing anything.
- Delete your account. More → Delete account permanently removes your account and all data. See the Privacy Policy for details.
